About Me

I blame my family for my obsession for paddling. If my parents hadn't bought that fiberglass Sprinter canoe none of this would have had happened.


	But it's been lots of fun. Most of my family and friends understand, and some of them are pretty passionate about paddling too.


	And paddling is a great way to meet new people. I've hitched some interesting rides in my time.


	Visited many magical places.

Camped in the forest and on bedrock with creatures of all kinds.

And experienced some great fishing.

	After moving to Vancouver Island, skiing and salt chuck activities like sea kayaking, outrigger canoeing and salmon fishing became a big part of my recreation diet.

Soon northern BC's rivers called to me.

So did the coastal trails.

And I started writing in earnest, even while on paddling trips …. That's my story for now, and I'm sticking to it!
